Present Tense
Present tense is the phrase used to indicate the occurrence of any work or activity performed as a day - day and is happening now. Here is the sentence structure of the present tanse:
· Using the verb :
+). S + Verb1 (first verb) + O + Ket.waktu (Everyday, Always, etc.).
-). S + do / does + not + Verb1 (first verb) + O + Ket.waktu
?). do / does + S + Verb1 (first verb) + + O + Ket.waktu?
· Using adjectives and objects :
+). S + to be (am, are and is) + + Ket.waktu Kt.Sifat & Objects
-). S + to be (am, are and is) + not + + Ket.waktu Kt.Sifat & Objects
?). to be (am, are and is) + S + Kt.Sifat & Ket.waktu + + objects?
· Examples of verbs:
+) Andi plays football every Sunday.
-) Andi does not plays football every Sunday.
?) Does plays football every Sunday?
Subjects He, she, and it uses does. While I, We and They use do
· Examples of using adjectives and objects:
+) I am here everyday
-) I am not here everyday
?) I am I here everyday ?
In the above sentence the verb there is a difference in play, due to differences in subject Andi (he, the subject substitutes the word of men) so add s or es to the verb. The following subjects are given penambahans verb or es: HE, SHE, IT. And the subject of the verb does not need to add s or es: I, WE, THEY.
